When the giant wolf went, his Sheeda hunters followed. Tom's pranks came at another cost when the not-so-little little brother of the old Black Forest pack exploited Tom's prankish behavior. Despite this, Bo's parents kept Tom around.

Though the Peeps were happy with their sheep, they know knew Tom's mother was a faerie sorceress. Tom's mother, upon learning of the hardship her son dealt upon the Peeps, gifted them with an enchantment upon the sole surviving sheep of their flock, allowing his wool to grow a full, luscious black coat three times a day which allowed the Peeps to sell it at market to recover their debts and continue to pay for Tom's room and board, which they now shared with the Piper family. This seemed to make everyone happy - but Bo Peep was most happy not to have to be bothered with supervising troublesome Tom.

As her parents took out their rage on Tom, Bo Peep convinced her friend Peter to let Tom stay with them for a while. The Peeps were furious at Tom, blaming him for the ordeal. As Bo closed in, the beasts scattered and left the gory remains of the flock behind.īo Peep found a single survivor, a little black lamb with its tail torn off, and carried it home. One time, when he found Tom asleep and her sheep nowhere in sight, Bo stayed out all night searching for the sheep, only to find them hours later being devoured by the three large creatures in the night. He would sneak away to take naps when he was sent to watch the sheep with Bo. Another boy would join their group of friends when the Peeps agreed to look after a mischievous boy named Tom in exchange for regular payments from his often traveling mother.īo did not much care for Tom. Soon the trio was joined by Peter's older angsty brother, Max.

When the flock came back from grazing to sleep, Bo Peep would often get together with her sister to hear about her education and play with Peter Piper, a boy from a gourd farm a short ways down the road. So while her parents worked a garden and her older sister was sent into Hamelin to attend school, it was left to Bo to tend to the flock. The Peeps had to diversify to earn enough coin. But those wolves did not bother the flocks of the Peeps, as the Peeps' ability seemed to make those wolves nervous.īut as Bo grew up, it had been years since the pack of the Black Forest had been seen and other shepherds began to return to the pastures around Hamelin. The Peeps made out well living near Hamelin where their ability allowed the Peeps to raise sheep so close to the Black Forest when most other flocks would always wander too close to the woods and be ravaged by the three wolves known as Greyheart, Snapjaw and Longtooth. The two sisters were part of a proud lineage of shepards who had the ability to speak with the animals and command the more dim-witted species to do their bidding. Bo Peep is the second daughter of her parents.
